DetailerCalc is designed so the core calculator runs directly in your browser. The dollar amounts and other numeric values you enter into the calculator are not intentionally stored in a DetailerCalc account or analytics dataset.

Cloudflare Web Analytics

DetailerCalc uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic and page performance, including page views, visits, referring pages, device and browser categories, approximate geographic information, and Core Web Vitals. Cloudflare describes Web Analytics as privacy-first and cookie-free and states that it does not collect or use visitors' personal data for this product.

Calculator engagement analytics

DetailerCalc also uses a first-party Cloudflare Analytics Engine dataset to understand whether visitors actually use the calculator and related pages. We record coarse interaction events such as starting the calculator, using several different controls, changing the service or vehicle category, toggling a common add-on, resetting the calculator, or clicking between the calculator and pricing guide.

These engagement events may include the selected service category, vehicle-size category, add-on category, and page path. We do not intentionally send the prices, labor rate, job time, costs, profit margin, payment-fee percentage, other numeric calculator inputs, names, email addresses, user IDs, or free-form text to this engagement dataset.

Cookies and advertising

DetailerCalc does not currently use advertising cookies. Cloudflare Web Analytics itself is cookie-free. Cloudflare may use strictly necessary cookies for security or network services depending on which Cloudflare features are active. If DetailerCalc adds advertising or other services that require additional cookies or similar technologies, this policy will be updated as appropriate.

Information you send us

If you contact DetailerCalc directly, we may receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address and message. We use that information to respond to your request and operate the site.

This policy may change as DetailerCalc adds features. The date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.
